Adelaide United FC
AUFC is an Australian professional football club, competing in the A-League Mens competition. Prior to the start of the 2023/24 season, their graphic designer contacted me to help with matchday content. The brief was simple, make the graphics move. My job was to bring their branding to life, or as they put it, "make it look sick!". But, none of this would be possible without their terrific creative team, who provided me with the design template.
Matchday '24
If you've ever been to a professional sporting event, chances are you know the importance of the "big screen". Well, at Adelaide United, it's no different. The animations you see here, are being played on the big screen at United home games for the 2023/24 season. Now, if you scroll down just a tad, you'll see what happens when they score a goal.
Pretty cool, right? To make things even cooler, their stadium has LED screens that run around the boundary lines. These also featured my animations, so you couldn't miss it!

The Scribble
You might have asked yourself, "How did he do the scribble?" Well, it was quite simple,
I just used the "Scribble" effect in Adobe After Effects. Serving as a smooth transition between words, the scribble effect complimented the vintage aesthetic. It was also a fun play on the black marker scribbled over the top in the final frames*.
